Natural Resource Management
My research combines macroecology (the description and prediction of ecological patterns for species diversity, abundance, and aggregation) with disturbance ecology (the study of ecosystem responses to naturally occurring, mortality inducing events).
I have taught undergraduate-level statistics, and graduate-level mathematics for interdisciplinary studies. I have also taught multiple field-based ecology classes for middle-schoolers, college students, and college professors.
