Lindsey Bell
Lindsey Bell is a graduate student in Natural Resource Science with an emphasis in Ecohydrology and Watershed Management. Her research integrates field, flux tower, and remote sensing observations across scales to understand how dryland structure influences ecosystem function and drought resilience. She utilizes a wide range of data sources and collection techniques, including UAVs, biometric vegetation surveys, leaf-level gas exchange measurements, soil analyses, satellite imagery, and long-term flux records. Throughout her program, Lindsey hopes to use many multi-scale datasets to improve ecological monitoring and advance our understanding of dryland processes. Outside of research, Lindsey also enjoys hiking, baking, pinning insects, watching horror movies, and making silly crafts!
