Research

Macroecology, biodiversity, and geographic range boundaries. I am currently examining how aspects of climate influence the geographic distributions of species across scales, to understand how those distributions may be affected by climate change.

Teaching

I have been the instructor of record for a variety of GIS courses on environmental analysis, data management, programming, and other topics taught at UC Riverside Extension and guest lecturer at U of A and other universities.
