My research focuses on the evolution of plant adaptation, specifically on how plants native to the Sonoran Desert respond to water and high-temperature stress.
Teaching
I teach the following courses: Field Botany (RNR 230R), Field Botany Laboratory (RNR 230L), Our Place in Nature: Biology and the Environment (RNR 170C1), and Sustainable Earth: Natural Resources and the Environment (RNR 150C1).
