Research: 
I study governance & adaptation in response to emerging ecological threats such as global change & invasive species. I link surveys, interviews, & institutional analysis with environmental data to answer questions about social-ecological systems.
Teaching: 
RAM340/RNR340: Sustainable Agriculture & Conservation in the Southwest - explores the compatibility of ranching & farming in the arid southwest, different approaches to increasing the sustainability of agriculture, and attitudes of farmers & ranchers
