Research: 
Researching transplant successes of the federally endangered pima pineapple cactus. Developing a predictive model for successful transplants of this endemic cactus that ranges from southwestern Arizona into Sonora, Mexico.
Teaching: 
Experience teaching basic geography, English, and environmental education in Nicaragua. Working with youth in the Tucson High School Garden club, and Manzo Elementary in Tucson.
