The 2015 Tucson Festival of Books will be held on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, 2015. Please join SNRE and our University of Arizona and Tucson peers, in contributing to science literacy by attending this year's event.
The Tucson Festival of Books attracts over 100,000 people during two weekend days in March, each year—making it Tucson’s premier literacy and education event. The event, and its Science City focus area, provides the School of Natural Resources and the Environment with a superb opportunity to engage with the general public—to convey our science, and the ways in which our programs are essential to the environmental health of Arizona, the West, and the United States. Much of the Science City activity is geared toward families and children, so SNRE's presence will be geared toward expanding and improving science literacy, and introducing some basic concepts about wildlife, rangelands and forests, and natural resources, in a fun and accessible way.
