Research

My research intersects animal behavior, ecology, and conservation, centering on wildlife responses to environmental changes. I am currently investigating how Mearns quail populations are affected by seasonal weather and developing models to estimate Mearns quail abundance in response to environmental conditions. Previous work includes study of mammalian behavioral changes in response to habitat changes such as urbanization and shrub encroachment.
