John Koprowski named Fellow of The Wildlife Society

John L. Koprowski, Professor of Wildlife and Fisheries Science in the School of Natural Resources & the Environment, was named a Fellow of The Wildlife Society at the annual meeting of the 8,000 member society in Pittsburgh from 25 to 29 October 2015.  This award recognizes members who have distinguished themselves through exceptional service to the wildlife profession.  Dr. Koprowski has served in numerous roles within the society at the state and national levels, produced over 120 publications including 3 books, and has enjoyed teaching undergraduate and graduate students in ecology, conservation, and management courses for 22 years as a faculty member, including the last 14 at the University of Arizona. TWS Fellows serve as ambassadors of The Wildlife Society and as such are encouraged to engage in outreach and other activities that will benefit and promote TWS and the wildlife profession.  TWS Fellows are appointed for life.  Congratulations John.
