Thandiwe Mweetwa featured in BBC ONE documentary The Hunt

Thandi Mweetwa and her colleagues at the Zambian Carnivore Programme and were featured on the last episode of a BBC nature documentary series called The Hunt, was narrated by David Attenborough. The seven-episodes focused on the challenges of life in the wild and the hunting techniques of different terrestrial and marine predators around the world. The last episode highlighted the predators? struggle for survival and the efforts of different conservation agencies and organizations to save these species.

Thandi and the Zambian Carnivore Programme were featured for their work to protect African Wild dogs in Zambia through research and conservation education. Thandi had this to say about this unique opportunity: "Being involved in the making of the documentary was an amazing experience. I grew up watching BBC nature films, which played an important role in developing my interest in wildlife and its conservation. It was great to be involved in a project that will entertain, educate and hopefully inspire future generations of wildlife enthusiasts."
