The Oregonian interviews Dr. Breshears on worldwife effects of forest die-offs

Dr. Dave Breshears and Abigail Swann of the University of Washington are the co-authors of a recent study published in PLOS ONE on the potential worldwide effects of forest die-offs. Dr. Breshears discussed the results of the study in an article published in The Oregonian. The study was one of the first to examine the potential effects of forest die-offs on ecosytems worldwide. The study used models to predict that massive forest die-offs could have consequences for ecosystems across the globe.
