Laura Lopez-Hoffman in Chron: "We should not end 100 years of breaking down walls to help wildlife"

Dr. Laura Lopez-Hoffman recently co-authored an op-ed in Chron along with Charles C. Chester of Tufts University. The op-ed, titled "We should not end 100 years of breaking down walls to help wildlife," discusses the history of international cooperation between the U.S. and Mexico which has helped to create important conservation legislation for migratory species, even during times of war and economic upheaval. Their op-ed urges the current administration and Congress to pass legislation which will protect migratory bat species which provide essential pest control and boost tourism.
