Congratulations to Dr. Bill Mannan, Professor of Wildlife Conservation and Management, and Starlight Noel-Armenta! The Raptor Protection Program that Starlight Noel-Armenta and Bill oversee received the Environmental Protection Partner Award 2019 from Tucson Electric Power (TEP). The long-term efforts of Bill and Starlight to eliminate electrocution of raptors and create more raptor-friendly structures has been exemplary and indicative of the important applied efforts in SNRE that make a difference in the real world! This award is well deserved!
