Research
I am an evolutionary biologist with a research focus on molecular phylogeny and population genetics. Current research projects are dealing with the conservation genetics and management of two species endangered in the US.
Teaching
I am co-teaching Conservation Biology in Developing Countries (1 unit), the summer program Desert Ecology and Conservation Biology in Namibia, Africa (6 units), and the winter program Amazon Rainforest Conservation Biology in Ecuador (3 units).
