Research

I work to bridge the science-society interface, in order to accelerate the exchange of knowledge about environmental and climate science, research findings, management practices, and decision contexts, between scientists and resource managers.

Teaching

I teach Climate Change Adaptation (RNR 440/540); the class addresses climate change risks and solutions to water, ecosystems, and other issues. I direct the Water, Society & Policy master’s degree program and teach the Water, Society & Policy seminar. I also serve as liaison to the waterWRLD internship, a 6-credit experiential learning course.
