Dr. Falk on Sawmill Fire for Arizona Week

Dr. Falk was interviewed for Arizona Public Media's Arizona Week program, where he discussed the Sawmill Fire. According to Dr. Falk, the 22-mile long fire will be beneficial for the grasslands burned, since it will cause new growth and attract grazers to the area. In addition, Dr. Falk talked about how more prescribed burning is necessary to help prevent large, destructive fires and restore fire's natural place in the ecosystem.
