Dr. Shaw receives Sonoran Desert Conservation Award from Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

Dr. William Shaw has received this year's Sonoran Desert Conservation Award from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Dr. Shaw is now retired, but continues his work on conservation biology through work with multiple organizations including the Desert Museum's Science and Conservation Council. The Sonoran Desert Conservation Award is given to honor "individuals who have had a significant impact on conservation in the Sonoran Desert Region." The award will be presented on December 9th at the Museum's Art Institute and Conservation Symposium.
