SNRE Director Stuart Marsh Appointed to Bureau of Land Management's Arizona Resource Advisory Council

On January 8, 2016, Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell appointed Stuart E. Marsh to the Bureau of Land Management?s Arizona Resource Advisory Council for a 3 year term. Stuart is Director of the School of Natural Resources and the Environment within the College of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Arizona. The Resource Advisory Council is composed of citizens from diverse backgrounds who share an interest in public lands and are responsible for providing advice to the BLM?s Arizona State Director for the balanced management of public land resources to serve the interests of all public land users in the State of Arizona. Stuart will be serving as a representative of academicians in natural resource management.
