Bio:

Justin Pidot is the Ashby Lohse Chair in Water & Natural Resources and co-director of the environmental law program at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, where he teaches and writes about environmental and natural resources law, administrative law, and related fields. He has written more than a dozen law review articles and co-authors a textbook on environmental law. During the Biden Administration, he served as General Counsel for the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and, during the Obama Administration, he served as the Deputy Solicitor for Land Resources at the U.S. Department of the Interior. He was also previously an appellate lawyer at the Environmental and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and a law clerk for Judge Judith Rogers of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
