Research Facilities

The location of UA's School of Natural Resources and the Environment in the desert Southwest provides a wealth of opportunities to enhance our understanding of issues relevant to natural resource management of semi-arid environments undergoing rapid population growth. Faculty and students take advantage of the diversity of the Southwestern landscape to study everything from fisheries in the Gulf of California to invasive species in the desert grasslands to endangered species on sky island forests.
