Watershed Management and Ecohydrology
Research:
I study interactions between trees & ambient temperature, soil water status, vapor pressure deficit & other micro/macro climatic variables in order to understand large scale die-off, encroachment, evapotranspiration partitioning, & spatial patterns.
Teaching:
I co-teach a graduate level seminar on the National Climate Assessment (RNR 696A). I also assist with teaching dryland ecohydrology and vegetation dynamics 452/552.
