SNRE Watershed Management and Ecohydrology PhD Student Zack Guido wins $2500 Geological Society of America Graduate Student Research Grant for his work: "Glacial melt contributions to Bolivian water supplies and implications of future warming". In Zack's proposed work, stable isotopes collected from rapidly melting glaciers in the Bolivian Andes will provide a snapshot of glacial contributions to water supply. This information, coupled with future projections of glacier declines, will help make estimates of changes in the water supply that supports more than 2 million people.  Zack Guido is a student in the Papuga Research Group.
