Senior Business Manager in the Office of Arid Lands Studies. I oversee and am responsible for all financial and administrative services of the department. I analyze and interpret financial information for educational outreach programs, joint ventures and research funding. I act as a liaison and coordinator with various administrative and staff members of internal and external entities to facilitate departmental operations and contractual arrangements. Provide consultation coaching and training of faculty and staff concerning current issues in financial and personnel management. I am responsible for overseeing space allocation and property management, coordinating requests with Real Estate Administration and other entities. I am a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) and am currently President, and founding member, of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
